Initial visitation to our site is made available free of charge, however, to utilise the services we offer, a set charge is required.

TYPES OF MEMBERSHIP & COST

https://giauk.org provides varying levels of membership for our users. These types of membership are targeted to both individuals and corporate entities alike, with varying features, benefits and costs associated with the specific plan chosen.  You will have the option to choose from a range of subscription options, each allows you to access greater degree of benefits.

The types of individual membership and the associated costs are currently:

GIA FREE MEMBERSHIP: This allows you, the user, free access to our free member portal and access to a variety of free resources

GIA PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP: This membership allows you, the user, access to our membership portal, as well as access to professional Network and Premium Resources, Online Training Material and Members’ Discounted Rate for Training & Events. The current cost for this level of membership is $100 per year.

GIA EDUCATION DISCOUNTED MEMBERSHIP: This membership allows you, the user, access to all the benefits of our professional membership but at a discounted price, subject to certain terms and conditions being met. The current cost for this level of membership is $60 per year.

The types of corporate membership and the associated costs are currently:

SILVER MEMBERSHIP: This membership allows a business or corporate body to benefit from 20 professional memberships, 20 Certification exams, corporate membership listing and business logo display as well as discounted rates for training and events. The current cost for this level of membership is $3000 per year.

GOLD MEMBERSHIP: This membership allows a business or corporate body to benefit from 40 professional memberships, 40 Certification exams corporate membership listing and business logo display as well as discounted rates for training and events. The current cost for this level of membership is $5400 per year.

DIAMOND MEMBERSHIP: This membership allows a business or corporate body to benefit from 60 professional memberships, 60 Certification exams corporate membership listing and business logo display as well as discounted rates for training and events. The current cost for this level of membership is $7500 per year.

PLATINUM MEMBERSHIP: This membership allows a business or corporate body to benefit from 100 professional memberships, 100 Certification exams corporate membership listing and business logo display as well as discounted rates for training and events. The current cost for this level of membership is $11000 per year.

 

YOU MUST KEEP YOUR ACCOUNT/MEMBERSHIP DETAILS SAFE

If you choose, or you are provided with, a user identification code, password or any other piece of information as part of our security procedures, you must treat such information as confidential. You must not disclose it to any third party.

We have the right to disable any user identification code or password, whether chosen by you or allocated by us, at any time, if in our reasonable opinion you have failed to comply with any of the provisions of these terms of use.

COURSES & PAYMENT

All bookings made through the GIA website are subject to availability. In the even that a booking is made in error by us and attendance would not be possible by virtue of oversubscription or any other associated error, we at GIA will offer you an alternate date. Where the alternate day is not accepted by you, we at GIA will provide a full refund.

A booking should only be deemed to be accepted when GIA issues an invoice in respect of the booking. The fee to attend a course or event must be paid in full before the date of the course or event. GIA has the right to refuse an attendee entry to the training session or event if the full fee is not paid before the starting date.

CANCELLATION

The customer must advise GIA of a cancellation in writing via one of the following means of notice:

All cancellations notices must be received by us within 10 days before the date of the course or event for a full refund to be debited. Where this time date is not met, a full refund will not be made.

Should you not be able to attend the course or event in person, you are permitted, subject to our approval to nominate another person to attend in their place.

GIA has the right to cancel a course or event after acceptance of nominations. In this event GIA will reimburse in full any course or event fees paid and GIA’s liability will be limited to the value of the course or event fees paid.

 

TRANSACTIONS CONCLUDED THROUGH THE WEBSITE

Contracts for the supply of services through the Website or as a result of use made by you are governed by these terms as wells as default statutory protections.

 

HOW YOU MAY USE MATERIAL ON OUR SITE

We are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in our site, and in the material published on it. Those works are protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world. All such rights are reserved.

Where any professional or corporate member authorises or permits any other person use of any of our material, GIA reserves the right to immediately suspend your membership and will reserve the right to pursue legal damages for infringement of our rights.
